  For you to infer that most JWs are happily head-deep in the sand is true. But don't dismiss "us" either

  And many of "us"think you are a Hypocrite for staying in..i have never bought into the Whole staying in for the family crap.

  But thats my point,thats what this Guy is doing too,For the record maybe ive been lucky,ive never known anyone who has died through not having a Blood transfusion and i have never heard of any Sexual Abuse at all in the religion,at least not round my area.That is NOT to say it doesnt happen tho!I think we are all reacting to differant experiences on this board thru our OWN experiences.

  I suppose ive been lucky,i just faded ,Parents same as ever...to a degree any way...clearly that is NOT everyones experience!Also,i agree ,the shunning policy is Evil and yes,i have seen Families split up over it.

  I read a stat that said that 3 dubs a day die worldwide due to lack of medical care.

  Well,if a stat said it ,it must be true...

  Bloody hell,give me strength.All i said was i didnt like the idea of someones behaviour at a Group study.get over it why dont you.

  london, england -- legendary english football manager brian clough has died after a battle with stomach cancer.

  the 69-year-old, one of the most outspoken and controversial figures in his sport, died on monday at derby city hospital.. clough won back-to-back european cup titles, in 1979 and 1980, during an 18-year spell in charge of nottingham forest.. he also took forest, a modest provincial club, to the 1978 english championship and four league cup titles, after winning the 1972 league title with forest's local rivals derby.. "this is a very sad day for everyone connected with nottingham forest football club," forest chairman nigel doughty said in a statement.. "the success he had here goes down as one of the great football achievements of all time.. "wherever you go in the world, the city has become synonymous with robin hood and brian clough and there is no doubt he has touched the lives of so many people in the area.".

  clough had suffered poor health in recent years and underwent a liver transplant in january 2003. in an autobiography published last year he admitted that he had been a heavy drinker.. clough's achievements as a manager overshadowed his earlier career as a prolific striker in his native north-east with sunderland and middlesbrough, where he scored 251 goals in 274 games and earned two england caps.. the highlight of his career was forest's 1-0 win over malmo in the 1979 european cup final, an achievement he repeated a year later when forest beat hamburg to retain their title.. taking charge of forest in 1975 after a disastrous 44-day spell in charge of leeds, clough steered them to the english title in 1978 -- their first season after winning promotion from the second division.. forest's 42-match unbeaten run between november 1977 and december 1978 was only bettered last month by arsenal.brutally blunt.

  How is it reprehensible to propose different thoughts and ideas at a public question and answer study of the bible? Isn't that what such a study is all about or do you prefer that everyone answer all of the questions with only the answers given by the same book?

  What you are proposing is a sham that is not a study at all but indoctrination with propaganda that does not tolerate question

  Blah,blah blah..heard it all before.All i am saying is ..it is clear this Man is just trying to confuse People.Why bother?Just leave and be done with it.Im all for an Honest Study,God knows i never went to one when i was in the Religion.All dacheech is doing is having a laugh at other peoples expense.As i said earlier,there are some genuinely mis-guided but sincere people there and they are looking up to Him.

  I personally find what your doing quite reprehensible.If you dont believe it all,then fair enough,i can totally understand that.But there are some sincere People in the Witness Faith who enjoy it and believe it.Also some do struggle to get there and others genuinely live for the Meetings.Now whatever the rights and wrongs of the witness Religion ,all you are doing is taking the P**s out of ordinary,mostly decent People ,if you are planning on subversiveness.

  I hope you get found out and appropriate action is taken.
